During Launch 48, this weekend in London, Inbox Unified was born. The Gmail plugin for Twitter DM´s in your inbox makes life simple.

We focused on executing the plugin for the Chrome browser to start, during the first 48 hours and are proud to launch it in the Chrome store.

All i can say here is thank you Lina Thomsgård for starting Equalisters. It alowwed us to create lists of alternatives to the prevailing norms that work! Way to go Lina, we´ve come a long way since that garage editorial room in 1995 at Brus as teenagers.

Erik and I will take care of the editing and the filming with help of people who have been asked but not yet confirmed, altho Im shure we can do it with a phone. Everyone will be credited who’s material we have used.

So why SSWC and Bubblan? As SSWC and Bubblan probably is the epicentra that links the social and the startups into the mesh that makes it a tangiable network, where everybody knows everybody. This isa good place to start. If someone fancies making new alternatives up, have your go, your even allowed to joke abut GeekGirlMeetup and social media expert if you like. Knock yourself out.

Restriction: There will be filtering for racist and illegal comments towards minorities, etc.

The article “Facebook, Myspace and Twitter chide Google with ‘Don’t be evil’ add-on” at The Guardian, and being a fan the free internet, this video-research and plugin need to be known about. Yes, its true, development is not guaranteed to go forward, it can also go, backwords.

The “focus on the user and all else will follow” that Google has been promoting for so many years is now taking a turn, promoting its own Google+ in organic search results before the actual search results. A plugin avaliable to Safari, Chrome and Firefox allows a clear search. Not to mention the plugin is built purely on Googles own code and kit, no other API´s used.

How easy is it, will take long, do i need to know how to code?
Hell no! Just drag and drop a button into your bookmark field in your browser, and off you go with clean search results.

What to do?
Go to FocusOnTheUser.org and drag the button to your bookmarks bar. Then when you are doinga search, just click the button and you will get the real search result, without google promoting their own social results.

If i was a judge in a coding competition for relevant search engine results, Google+, frankly, you would be disqualified.

Startup Sweden and Originate throw a ‘Startup Weekend’ event this weekend (Dec. 2-4).  They  just added a grand prize of a 250000 SEK investment in the form of development time!

They would really love to have more women entrepreneurs at the event, as they’re rather underrepresented right now. Girls and women, geeks of the industry, hope to see you there! People who don’t have a team yet are welcome too!

The third Swedish hackathon 24 Hour Business Camp is held again at at Hasseludden. Im partipating on distance from London with my idea Scrive Petitions, built on Scrive API, that the rest of the Scrive team will Hack together.

The challenge begins now, and the presentations are tomorrow at noon! The program is here.

If i was in Sweden today, this is where i would go. Hyperisland, a school exhibition less ordinairy, with talent like few. An education i once concidered an option, instead i became a speaker and tech mentor here, and today work with one of my students. I I was there, i wouldn’t miss it for the world, and neither should you.
